Pacific Islander MANA Summit

Our Legacy of Empowerment

For over a decade, PCRC has been a catalyst for Pacific Islander empowerment through two key annual conferences:

MANA Youth Conference – a gathering for Pacific Islander high school students and their allies to foster academic success, build leadership skills, and prevent youth violence.

Pacific Islander Violence Prevention Conference – a national platform amplifying Pacific Islander voices and expertise to address violence and co-create community-based solutions.

In 2025, we are merging these two transformative events into one powerful convening: The Pacific Islander Mana Summit.

About the Summit

Data that informed a recent action plan “United for Youth: Blueprint for Youth Well-Being”, highlights a growing crisis: Pacific Islander 7th graders in San Mateo County experience the highest rates of depression and suicidal ideation compared to their peers. This is coupled with rising concerns about youth crime and violence, family disruption, and school truancy across California and beyond.

The 2025 Pacific Islander Mana Summit, themed "Roots and Wings: Grounded in Heritage, Soaring Toward Possibility", will address these urgent issues by bridging the divide between youth and adults, fostering intergenerational dialogue, and promoting culturally informed solutions. This summit is designed to honor Pacific Islander heritage while promoting collective growth, healing, and sustainable community impact. The best part? Entry is completely FREE! Register here!
